[OPEN LOG] Welcome to Cape Beryl!

Who: Everyone!
When: Spring 2nd - all day.
Where: All across Cape Beryl.
What: You've splashed down into the Harvest Goddess's sacred pond, pulled yourself out - or perhaps been pulled out by an out-of-breath and soaking stranger, shaken off the worst of the shock of the cold and the unexpected trip underwater, and likely by now noticed that the little silver piece of jewelry that put you through this seems to have found its way around your neck.

Now you ought to get your bearings. Leave Goddess Grotto whenever you're ready, take the path out along a beach and up the cliffs to a village - see where you are, maybe if you can get directions. No matter what, you're going to realize that you're somewhere new - but maybe some of the Bower Village townspeople will be willing to help you get sorted out. If nothing else, maybe you'll be drawn into talking to anyone else you might catch sight of wandering the village, disoriented, soaked to the skin, and with a silver heart-shaped pendant around their neck. Depending on how you see it, you're not all alone - not any more than everyone else, anyway.

Headers for open interactions in example locations will be posted - but by all means, start threads wherever and with whoever you like!

Rating: Expected K-PG - subject to change as appropriate.

It's a cool, early spring day - the air and the breeze may not agree with anyone with wet clothes. But apart from that, the atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful; distant chirps of birds can be heard from the mouth of Goddess Grotto to Mt. Throne. The trees and grasses are pale green and flowers are budding in the meadows - not to mention the garden at Florist Lilia and de Sainte-Coquille Park.

And the town at the top of the cliffs is somewhat drowsily at peace. It's far from deserted - stabled behind a house on the town's east side is a healthy-looking mule, and a pair of chickens and a goat hang around in a pen behind an inn, the town's brightly-dressed mailwoman is out and about, as is the town watchman, who will likely be ready to approach anyone with an unfamiliar face before they can approach him, if he happens to catch them on his rounds. However, although anyone may freely knock on any of the doors in Bower Village and expect a polite "come in", no one is prepared for company, and whoever is inside might jump at finding themselves talking to a clearly displaced stranger!

"D-don't worry about it! I'll take this place at a run, keep the blood flowing!" He assured her, taking a moment to crack his knuckles and all ready prepare for that run. A shiver threatened to spread its way out from his stomach to the rest of his body, but he ignored it; Mind over matter and whatnot!

He paused when he noted that there were footprints in the sand... more than a pair, actually, and small stone bowls filled with spring flowers, fruit and incense. It reminded him of the little offerings he and his mother left at his late father's grave, and he worked to push down that little pang in his chest.

"S'gotta be a town around here... do people worship somethin' here?" Oh, crap, were they just splashing around in some deity's pond or something? He was gonna raise some hell if they're struck by lightning or something the minute they leave the grotto. He could almost hear the voice of Takeji Zaiten somewhere in the back of his head, rumbling a challenge.

"...If you are certain."

If he caught a cold, it wasn't her fault. At his words, Naoto glanced around as well, taking in the full area. How had she missed that?

"If they do, it would give more evidence to the theory something pulled us here intentionally; we've had enough experiences with gods and goddesses and the like to know they're more then capable of such things."

A chill went up Naoto's spine, and it wasn't just from the wet clothing. T-thinking about that experience... perhaps the memories of them waving their Senpai off had been just a dream, and after they had been pulled down they'd ended up here instead?

...No. That was just paranoia talking. When Naoto opened her mouth again, she tried to hold off that slight shake in her voice.

"I... I will head off now. Take care, Kanji-kun. And remember, at Sunset if we do not meet before then!"

She started walking towards the entrance, making a face at the feel of her soaked shoes squishing along. This wasn't going to be a fun trip...

"We do." But he refused to think about the terrifying thing that happened not a day before. No, he thought of Izanagi, and his own Persona for starters and left it at that.

It helped him sleep better a night to put that behind him, instead of sitting upright and gasping like he did the night before.

But he fell quiet, felt chilled. He was glad for the subject change, and he lifted a hand in a wave.

"Y-yeah, sure. Right here at sunset if nothin' else! I'll turn this place upside down if I gotta!" He nodded firmly, and took off, his shoes squishing and putting little dents into his ego all the way.

"Good luck, Naoto!"
