"That a little more interesting than having to call accross a field to one another."
She watched how Fuuka attempted to get the turnip from the ground, before leaning in to take the young womans hands and guide her.
"Kanji-kun showed me that digging into the earth a little around the plant and then pulling it out that way helps."
Assured she'd understand easily, Naoto pulled back her hands, moving onto the next turnip. But Fuuka's question made her pause, tilting her head.
"'Good' meaning benevolent, correct?"
She reached down for the other turnip, looking thoughtful.
"From what I've read, along with the traditions of this area, I would be inclined to say she is a 'Good' Goddess. The people here do not live in fear of her, and... well, her servants were the ones that constructed this small farm for us."
Easing her hands around the vegetable, Naoto pulled it carefully.
"However, from what Kanji-kun told me, even her servants-- Harvest Sprites, if you'd believe it-- haven't seen the Goddess for a length of time. It may be she needs assistance from outside the village to develop these farms... which would make sense. If she's a Harvest Goddess, if no one is harvesting -anything-, there's no worship for her, and thus no strength. This may in fact have been more of an act of desperation than malice."
