"That-!" He exclaimed, his voice a little raw, and checked his hands. His pockets. After all that, he hadn't even kept a good grip on it in the first place. Swearing under his breath, he hoped that thing wasn't too valuable, because that thing was probably long gone in the tunnels.
But it seemed to be the Day of Shiny Crap, because something new caught his eye. Caught in the spring sunshine, he found what looked like a trail of spun silk. How were people just leaving all this stuff lying around? With little else to go on at this point, he reached down to gather it up and followed the trail.
Damn, this stuff was soaked... it was heavy! But used to heavy lifting in the day to day, he didn't seem as bothered by the weight as most. His trail led him to a tree, and for a moment he was confused all over again. Was the end caught on a treebranch or someth-
"...The hell're you doin' up there?" Really, he was glad to see another human being since he got here, since it meant there was possibly a town and a phone nearby that he could use, but curiosity was the first thing nagging at him.
